My Dream University Life

Speaking of university life, the first scene pumps into my brain is the view that a student casually ride a bike, wandering as free as a bird in the beautiful, extensive campus of university. How attempting the view is! However, university is not only a place to have fun, but also a palace of learning, thinking and pursueing.
I’ve been dreaming of becoming a university student for so many years. I dream that I can learn all of those I’ve been longing to know, and even proove them. Instead of forcing myself to remember all the textbooks of the subjects which I’m not interested in at all, I want to see those theories in reality with my own eyes, even proove them. I want to know the theory of semiconductor and how to print the circuits on a silicon wafer. I want to see the salmon pink molecules slowly twist in the liquid and turn into grass green. I want to watch the planets racing in the telescope, and compare their movements with Kepler’s laws of planetary movements. I dream to be trained to think and act like a reasonable scientist, and feel the real existence of the materials and atom that compose the world we are living.
Besides this academic works, I dream to meet more people who can share the same interests with me. We can share the books we read, the music we listened to and our love and adoration of art. We can talk about English literature. Reading the Broute sisters, Jane Austin and Virginia Woolf, we can have a glance at the society and women’s status in the past two hundred years, and reflect on ourselves-as a 21st century female with high education, I want to break out the restriction of women and chase for the equalty and liberty we deserve. We can talk about music, feeling the rhythm flying or beating, connecting us to the composers with they shed. Reciting out loud the poetic lyrics, we can compensate on the meaning and passion in it, igniting the fire in our hearts. Most importantly, I hope I can join the dancing club, and find a partner who I can tangle with. Clutching to the other’s shoulder, we will dance gracefully, sharing our emotion and love. Swiftly speaking with our feet, we don’t need any words and language to communicate. With an eye sight, all the sentiment and glory will be expressed, and we will live and perish in the flame of love and possesion.
I also dream to become a useful person in university. University should be the brain of society. It’s a place where the most distinguished students, the most learned scholars gather together. Since they have enjoy many resources and rights of our society, they have to take on the responsibility to make our country better. I want to join those people, to savor the bitterness of people, to witness the corruption of the politics, to feel the angry of nature, which was devoured and consumed by greedy human, and to find the solution and advance our society. The brain has to know howits siblings and body suffer, and takes action. I hope I can find the power and wills in university to help the people in need and lead our nation striding forward, bravely and confidently facing the world.
Some people joke that being a university means having fun. Indeed, the life in university must be colorful and sparkling, if we make good use of our time and stick to our dreams. I dream to face many challenges and obstacles on my pursueing of wisdom and truth, preparing for my career, being a scientist, and turn my belief into action, to change the world, to be what I am, and to lead a productive life.
